Draft Small Towns Plan released for community feedback

West Wimmera Shire Council is seeking community feedback on the draft Small Towns Plan, a strategic project focused on supporting the development and liveability of the shire.
The draft plan presents locally tailored ideas to enhance public spaces, grow tourism, strengthen town centres and guide land use and development.

Changes to Maternal and Child Health Service

West Wimmera Shire Council will partner with West Wimmera Health Service to deliver a more integrated Maternal and Child Health service backed by clinical expertise.
Council voted at its meeting on Wednesday to endorse the transfer of the Maternal and Child Health service to West Wimmera Health Service.

Draft Asset Management Plan open for community feedback

West Wimmera Shire Council is inviting the community to provide feedback on its updated Asset Management Plan, which sets the direction for how Council will manage and maintain its infrastructure over the next 10 years.
The plan outlines Council’s approach to maintaining, renewing, upgrading, and, where necessary, decommissioning assets across the shire.
